Basic Impressioning explains the fundamental theories and methods for making a key by impressioning. The proper techniques for blank preparation (spacing), obtaining marks and the ability to recognize marks are covered in detail.

Like picking, this is a skill that can be learned quite easily if the student is willing to put in the time. Practice is of uptmost importance as it is not enough to understand the principles involved, it is necessary to create the ability to make those principles work for you.
