CAN I ORDER FROM THIS SITE?

This is the most commonly asked question due to the necessarily stringent precautions imposed on us by legal issues. First, it is mandatory that you READ the terms of sale. When you place an order, you will be required to electronically sign to certify to us that you have read it and that you, to the best of your knowledge, qualify to purchase locksmith equipment. You will note that one of the circumstances that permit purchasing is if you are a "bonafide" locksmith. The actual definition of a "bonafide" locksmith is unclear and I have been unable to track down a legal definition. Therefore, it is somewhat a gray area. Most practictioners of this skill, whether beginner or pro and whether licensed or unlicensed, consider themselves "bonafide" locksmiths. Hopefully this answers your question.

CAN I MAIL IN MY PAYMENT?

No problem, just follow the instructions on the order form when you are ready to complete your order. Shipment does NOT take place until your payment is received, and if you send a personal or business check there will be further delay as funds must clear your bank before we ship. For this reason, we strongly urge the use of Postal money orders or cashier's checks. The address to send payment is:

HOW WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

All shipments staying within the borders of the U.S. are shipped via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail, with either delivery or signature confirmation depending on the value of the merchandise. Shipment takes place immediately if all items you have ordered are in stock. If not, shipment will be made as soon as all items are available. In some cases, as with items identified in our online catalog as "special order items", there may be a delay as long as 3-4 weeks, but this is rare. For International orders, shipment is via International Air Mail. The delivery time varies from country to country and it is not possible to give an estimated delivery time.

DO YOU GUARANTEE YOUR PRODUCTS?

Locksmith tools and supplies are guaranteed to be free of defects and will be replaced or money refunded, at our discretion, upon return of any defective item. Sales of online electronic books and CD-ROMs, being informational in nature, are final and refunds are NOT GIVEN so please don't ask. Defective disks, of course, are replaced free of charge.

Absolutely. The owner, George Robertson, has been a self-employed locksmith for nearly 20 years and continues to operate a mobile service in Pearce, Arizona and surrounding localities. The electronic books and CDs offered at this site are all copyrighted by George Robertson and reflect a vast amount of in-the-field experience.

U.S.C. Title 39 Section 3002a specifies that locksmith tools can be shipped via mail only if the buyer can certify that he/she/it can be truthfully regarded as one of the following: A bona fide locksmith, a bona fide auto repossessor, a licensed car dealer, a lock manufacturer, a motor vehicle manufacturer. By placing your order here, and by indicating your agreement of these terms before ordering, you are electronically signing this agreement and certifying to us under penalty of perjury that at least one of the above classifications pertains to you. In the absence of this assurance, Lock Picker's Mall will not ship to you.
